In the census of 31 March 1901 in Covehithe, Suffolk, Henry was listed as, aged 72 born in Covehithe, the Head of Household; a widower, living with his son and daughter-in-law Agnes, together with two grandsons Henry & William, and four granddaughters Faith, Ruby, Mary, and Elsie.2,3

Research Note: Peter Smith (Source #3250) is researching the family of Henry Spoor. He writes:
"The father of Henry and William was Henry (who married Mary Wright) whom you detail as being born 1823 at Badingham. I suggest that he was born at Covehithe around 1828 as evidenced by the census records which all give his place of birth as Covehithe and where his date of birth could variously be 1827/8/9".4
