Ellen PASKE was born in 1857 in Llantilio Pertholey, Monmouthshire.1,2 She was the daughter of John PASKE and Elizabeth CURZON.1 In the census of 2 April 1871 in Wangachen Farm, Llantilio Pertholey, Monmouthshire, she was listed as as aged 12, born in Llantilio Pertholey, the daughter of John PASKE.1 In the census of 3 April 1881 in Rock House, Llandenny, Monmouthshire, she was listed as "Helen", farming 60 acres employing a Man & Boy, aged 22 born in Llantilio Pertholeythe daughter of John PASKE.3
