On 11 November 1916, at the time of the birth of their daughter Gladys, Herbert and Annie lived near the Church in Wrabness, Essex.2
He attended the marriage of Sylvia Carole HOBDEN and his grandson, Alan John LUNGLEY, in 1967 in the Sudbury registration district, and had his photograph taken with the bride and groom.3,4,1

Research Note: Herbert had a younger sister - Lilian Rose LUNGLEY. She was the mother of Sheila BOURNE, who has provided extensive information on this family, including photographs and certificates.1

In the census of 2 April 1911 in 43 Tenter Buildings, Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire, he was listed as aged 9 born in Newark, the step son of George HUCKERBY.2
Frank died in 1927 in the Newark-on-Trent registration district.3

     George HUCKERBY was born on 18 June 1876 in Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire.2,3,4
George married Martha PASK, daughter of John PASK and Mary Jane JOHNSON, in 1907 in the Newark-on-Trent registration district.1
In the census of 2 April 1911 he was a neighbour of his father-in-law, John PASK.5
In the census of 2 April 1911 in 43 Tenter Buildings, Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire, George was listed as aged 34 born in Newark, the Head of Household; a Malter's Labourer living with his wife Martha, and stepson Frank, and daughter Nellie. Also listed was a Boarder David SIMMONS.2
On 29 September 1939, in the 1939 National Register, George and his wife Martha, were listed as living at 23 Elgin Place, Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire. He was born on 18 June 1876, and his occupation was a Bricklayer's Labourer. Also listed was their daughters Mary, and Ruth, and their grandson Brian.4
George died in 1945 in the Newark-on-Trent registration district.6
His wife, Martha, died in 1958 in the Newark-on-Trent registration district.7

In the census of 2 April 1911 in 43 Tenter Buildings, Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire, she was listed as aged 1 born in Newark, the daughter of George HUCKERBY.3
Nellie married Albert Arthur JARMAN in 1934 in the Newark-on-Trent registration district.4
On 29 September 1939, in the 1939 National Register, Nellie and her husband Albert, were listed as living at 56 Sleaford Road, Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire. She was born on 20 August 1909, and her occupation was Unpaid Domestic Duties.2
