MARSHALL WILLETT, Kewanee Clothier, Dies in Hospital.
Marshall J. Willetts, 66 a Kewanee clothier for many years, died early today (Dec. 27, 1951), at Kewanee Public Hospital. He had been in failing health for the past few months.
He was born June 11, 1885, at Annawan, the son of John and Adeline Showers Willetts. He married Clyde E. Pask at Kewanee Oct. 8, 1913. His wife and two sons, Ward, Glendale, Calif., and Lyle, Wilmington, N.C., survive, as do four grandchildren and numberous nieces and nephews.
Willetts was a member of the Baptist church and had been active in church affairs for the past few years. He was a former member of the Wethersfield School board.
He had worked for the old Lyman and Lay department store and its successor, the Kewanee Dry Goods store. He had been employed in recent years at the Leader store.
Funeral arragements will be announced by the Cavanagh and Schueneman funeral home.

FUNERAL MARSHALL WILLETTS
Funeral service for Marshall Willetts was held Monday afternoon at Cavanagh and Schueneman funeral home with the Rev. Gordon L. Vaughn, officiating. Hugh Price was at the organ with Eugene Peck, soloist.
Pall bearers were Claude Bennett, John Zonkel, Fred Telander, Jack Baker, Donald Tracey and Roy Radford. Burial was in Evergreen Memorial cemetery.¹

TOULON, IL - Ruth Elaine Parrish Anderson, 92, of Toulon passed away Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2011, at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria, IL.
She had been a resident at the Toulon Rehabilitation & Health Care Center.
Ruth was born Dec. 16, 1918, in Kewanee, the daughter of Bert J. and Abbie Jackson Pask. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Kay (John) Elliott of Toulon; stepson, Roger (Marsha) Anderson of Fort Atkinson, Wis; stepdaughter, Marilee (Reed Rosalek) Anderson of Milwaukee, Wis; grandson, Jim (Debra) Elliott of Fishers, Ind; granddaughter, Beth Elliott of Los Angeles, Calif; stepgrandson, Matt (Kim) Anderson of Fort Atkinson; stepgrandson, Mark (Kylene) Anderson of Whitewater, Wis; great-grandson, Ryan Elliott of Fishers, Ind; and stepgreat-grandchildren, Calen and Caroline of Fort Atkinson and Isabelle and Kiefer of Whitewater.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Herbert Pask.
Ruth graduated from Wethersfield High School, class of 1937, and married Marion W. Parrish on July 27, 1938. She and Marion resided on a farm west of Toulon. He died July 5, 1988.
In 1990, she married Martin Anderson, a retired dairy farmer of Fort Atkinson, Wis., who was originally from the Toulon area. Until Martin's death on March 7, 2000, they enjoyed spending time at both the Toulon and Fort Atkinson residences.
She was a gifted cook and gardener, and had a particular talent for crafts, which she enjoyed throughout her long life. She appreciated nature and loved bird watching.
A devoted wife and mother, Ruth took pleasure in her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and family, as well as her circle of friends. She will be missed by all.
Ruth was a member of the Toulon United Methodist Church and the church's Women's Circle; was a former member of the Toulon Women's Club; DAR; Stark County Historical Association; Stark County Farm Bureau; and Stark County Home Extension Unit.
Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.¹
