Henry GATFIELD was born in 1870 in Christchurch, Monmouthshire.1 He was the son of Miles GATFIELD and Caroline PASK.1 In the census of 2 April 1871 in Crescent Road, Christchurch, Monmouthshire, he was listed as aged 1 born in Christchurch, the son of Miles GATFIELD.1

James married Phebe PASK, daughter of Philip PASK and Phoebe BEVAN, in 1840 in the Newport registration district. They had at least one daughter Mary.1,2 James HARRY and Phebe HARRY lived at Newport, Monmouthshire.1
James died in 1865.1

An extract from this letter reads: "...their own residence which became the property of the only surviving son …. Philip Pask - born 1797 - who had a younger and only brother, Thomas Pask who died about the year 1847 and was buried at Merthyr Tydfil, not married. There were also three daughters - named Phoeby, Mary and Margaret all of which married. The first became by marriage Mrs James Harry, kept a Hotel at Newport Mon and as far as I know, both died about the year 1865. Leaving at least one daughter Mary. Second daughter Mary Lewis, married and kept an Inn at Raglan, her husband a builder, Thomas Lewis. Both died about the year 1856, leaving four sons, which so far as I can recollect are all dead. Thomas LEWIS was born in 1797.2
Thomas married Mary PASK, daughter of Philip PASK and Phoebe BEVAN, on 14 July 1824 in Bryngwyn, Monmouthshire. They had four sons, Thomas, Philip, William, and Edward.1,3
In the census of 6 June 1841 in The Rising Sun, Raglan, Monmouthshire, Thomas was listed as aged 40, the Head of Household; a Mason, assumed to be living with his wife Mary, and children Thomas, Phillip, William, and Edwyn.1,4
In the census of 30 March 1851 in Primrose Green, Raglan, Monmouthshire, Thomas was listed as aged 53 born in Clytha, the Head of Household; a Mason, living with his wife Mary, and son Edwin.5 Thomas was buried on 15 November 1854 in Raglan, Monmouthshire.2
