"THOMAS HENRY BOND
Thomas Henry Bond was born in Herefordshire, England, December 29, 1849, and died at his ranch home about 16 miles northeast of Watford City, December 15, 1918, at the age of 68 years, 11 months and 16 days.
Deceased was married 36 years ago, to Miss Mary Jane Pask. To this union were born 11 children, six of who together with the mother survive to mourn his loss. The children are, Harry, Fred, Wallace, Mrs F.F. Gonion, Mrs Oscar Madson, and one married daughter in South Dakota.
Mr Bond was one of the pioneers of this section of McKenzie county, having come here in 1901 from South Dakota.
His death was not overlooked for as he had been suffering intensely for sometime with an incurable malady.
The funeral was held from the residence Wednesday, December 18, at 12 o'clock noon, and interment was made in the Schafer cemetery, Rev. W.B. Cowgill officiating.

In the census of 5 April 1891 in 13 Poplar Road, Camberwell, London, she was listed as aged 72 born in Usk Monmouthshire, the wife of John W. SLATER (a Boot Laster, living with his wife Caroline, and son-in-law William CAPLE, who was listed with his wife Caroline and son Herman).11
Her husband, Timothy, died on 26 May 1893 in 11 Poplar Road, Camberwell, London.12
Mary died in 1897 in the Camberwell registration district.13
Research Note: It is thought that Philip and Mary are twins. However in the 1861 census they are shown as different ages, and born in different places.10
