Wedding of Frank & Laura Irene (Nene) Morley née Pask 1945
Laura married Frank MORLEY in 1945 in the Bury St. Edmunds registration district.7,2,8,9 A photograph was taken of Laura and Frank on their wedding day.10 After Nene's father retired from running the village Post Office and store, Nene & her husband Frank took over and ran it until they retired in the 1970's. When Nene & Frank retired, they sold the shop and Post Office, and used the field that belonged to Nene's father William, to build their retirement bungalow "Orchard End" on. It was next door to the the Methodist Chapel where Nene played the organ for many years.11,12
Laura died in November 2006.12

Kathleen Susannah PASK was born on 7 May 1911 in Hargrave, Suffolk.1,3,2 She was the daughter of Frederick William PASK and Ellen Maud PHILLIPS.3,1,4
Kathleen married William G. HUNT in 1937 in the Bury St. Edmunds registration district.5,6,4,7 A photograph was taken of Kathleen and William G. on their wedding day.8 Kath & Bill had a smallholding in Raydon, and then spent their retirement in a bungalow in Ipswich.9
Kathleen died in November 2000 in the Gipping and Hartismere registration district aged 89.2

Alec W. PASK's birth was registered in 1916 in the Bury St. Edmunds registration district.1 He was the son of Frederick William PASK and Ellen Maud PHILLIPS.1,2 Alec was perfect as a small child, but developed a benign tumour, that disfigured his face & body greatly. It was a similar growth to the "Elephant Man". Nevertheless, he was well loved, and the children in the village were never afraid of his appearance.3
Alec died in 1960 in the Norwich registration district.4

Peter William PASK was born on 2 April 1907, in the Aylesbury registration district.1,2 He was the son of George Thomas PASK and Margaret Elizabeth LIDDLE.1
Peter married Ethel M. STEPHENS in 1935 in the Pembroke registration district.3
Peter was killed in action on 14 June 1944, fighting in World War I in Bayeux at the age of 37.4,5 Peter is commemorated in perpetuity in Grave X. M. 9, Bayeux War Cemetery, Bayeux. He was a Sergeant in the Royal Engineers in 66 Field Company (Service No. 1865324).4
