Dorothy 'Dot' Pask née Philpott
(1934-2015)
     Dorothy J. PHILPOTT's birth was registered in 1934 in the Winchester registration district.2 Dorothy June's nickname was Dot.3
Dorothy married Charles PASK, son of Charles PASK and Agnes Mary POOLE, in 1954 in the Winchester registration district.4
Her husband's, Charles, death was registered in September 2005 in the Peterborough registration district.5,6
Dorothy died on 21 November 2015 in Peterborough City Hospital, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.3
Her death was announced in the Peterborough Telegraph & Citizen, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, on 26 November 2015. It read:
PASK Dorothy ‘Dot’
Passed away peacefully at Peterborough City Hospital on 21st November 2015, aged 81 years.
Beloved Wife of the late Charlie. Much loved Mum of Charles, Frank and Laurence. Dear Nanny and Great Nanny who will be sadly missed.
The funeral service will take place on Wednesday 2nd December, 1.30pm at St Lukes RC Church, Orton Malborne, followed by committal at Peterborough Crematorium.
Flowers welcome but if desired donations for Muscular Dystrophy UK may be given at the service or sent to Smiths Funeral Directors,

Her funeral service was held at St. Luke's RC Church, Orton Malborne, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, on 2 December 2015.3 Her body was cremated on 2 December 2015 in Peterborough Crematorium, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.3

     James married Lilias PASK in 1920 in the Chorlton on Medlock registration district. James & Lilias [Lillian] had a daughter Margaret BRYNE.1,2

After Clara's father (Charles Pask) died in WWI, she was brought up by her step-father, James BYRNE, together with her half-sister Margaret BYRNE.2
His wife's, Lilias, death was registered in 1970 in the Blackpool registration district.3

     Alf SELBY was born in 1883 in Openshaw, Lancashire.1,2 He was the son of Annie SELBY.1
In the census of 5 April 1891 in 6 Andrew Street, Openshaw, Lancashire, he was listed as aged 7 born in Openshaw, the [step] son of John PASKE.1
In the census of 31 March 1901 in 7 Paradise Street, Hurst, Lancashire, Alf was listed as a Front Moulder Apprentice, aged 17 the Head of Household. Also listed was four boarders John, Charles, Mary A., and Minnie PASK. They were his step-father, and half brothers and half sister.3
