Gertrude died on 1 August 2004 in Morristown, Morris, at the age of 80.1,2 Gertrude's obituary was recorded in the Star-Ledger, The/New Jersey Online. It reads: A memorial service for Mrs. Gertrude J. Pask, 80, of Morristown will be at 12:30 p.m. Aug. 29 in the Chapel of the Presbyterian Church, on the Green, Morristown. Arrangements are by the Madison Memorial Home, Madison.
Mrs. Pask, who died Sunday at home, was an elementary school teacher in the Morris School District before retiring.
She received a degree from Wilkes College, Wilkes-Barre, Pa., and the Parsons School of Design, New York City, and graduated summa cum laude from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Mrs. Pask was a literacy volunteer in Morris County and also a volunteer at the Great Swamp Outdoor Education Center, Chatham Township. She was a member of the Current News Club.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, she lived in Ashley, Pa., before moving to Morristown.
Surviving are her husband, Durant; daughters, Joanna and Diana; a son, Charles, and two grandchildren.2
