ROTAN — Tomie Paske, 78, died Saturday, Dec. 4, 1999, at a local hospital.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Revs. Johnrose Hayden and Werth Mayes officiating. Burial will be in Roby Cemetery, directed by Weathersbee Funeral Home.
Mr. Paske was born in Coleman County and was an Army veteran. He worked for National Gypsum for many years. He was a member of the American Legion and St. Joseph's Catholic Church. He married Annie White in 1946 in Rotan.
Survivors include his wife, of Rotan; three daughters, Katy Doty of Snyder, Nancy Fudge of Hamlin and Becky Sanders of Rotan; one son, Tommy Paske of Rotan; one sister, Pauline Brley of Winters; two brothers, Cardie Paske of Winters and Steve Paske; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.^1,10

ROBY - Marion Paske, 72, died Saturday at a Big Spring hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tommy Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Roby Cemetery, directed by Weathersbee Funeral Home of Rotan.
Mr. Paske was born in Hatchel and worked for National Gypsum for 42 years. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and had lived in Roby since 1946. He married Donna Grice in 1946 in Roby.
Survivors include his wife, of Roby; one son, Rusty Paske of Kingsland; one daughter, Sherry Mize of McCaulley; two sisters, Mrs. G.T. Beddo of Roby and Pauline Briley of Winters; three brothers, Tommy Paske of Rotan, Steve Paske of Fort Worth and Cody Paske of Winters; four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, two step-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.³

ROBY — Gus T. Beddo, 89, died Saturday in a Dallas hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. in the Roby Church of Christ.
Burial will be in the Roby Cemetery under the direction of Weathersbee Funeral Home in Rotan.
Mr. Beddo was born in Coleman County and moved to Fisher County in 1942 from Brownwood. He retired from blacksmithing after working for more than 50 years. He also was a member of the Church of Christ for 76 years.
Survivors include his wife. Vickie Paske Beddo of Roby; a son, Dearal of Platteville, Colo; two daughters, Molly Zimmerman of Corpus Christi and Katie Beddo of Garland; a sister, Verlon Cox of San Angelo; eight grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.³

Pauline E. Paske, 88, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Jan. 3, 2010, in Fort Worth after a long illness.
Service: 12:30 p.m. Friday in Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park of Fort Worth. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Laurel Land Funeral Home.
Pauline was born Aug. 16, 1921, in Oklahoma. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Itasca. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 70 years, Steve, and son, Gary Lynn Paske.
Survivors: Daughter, Catherine James of Fort Worth; son, Steve E. Paske and wife, Elizabeth, of Itasca; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.²

Dorothy moved to Winters with her family when she was a small child. She married Cody Paske September 25,1945, in Winters. She was preceded in death by her husband Cody. She sold Avon for several years and worked at Piggly-Wiggly Store.
Survivors include a son Roy Lynn Paske, a daughter Patricia Elaine Peterson, one sister Mattie Shellito, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Services were held Sunday August 28 in the winters Funeral Home Chapel.²

Patricia Elaine Peterson, the daughter of Dorothy (Watson) and Cody Paske, was born September 25, 1946 at Winters, Texas. She departed this life on Monday, January 26, 2009 at the Smith County Memorial Hospital in Smith Center, Kansas at the age of 62 years, 4 months and 1 day.     
Elaine grew up in the Winters community and received her formal education attending the Winters public schools, graduating as class salutatorian in 1965. She then attended Computer Technical College in Midland, Texas. Elaine returned to Winters, where she was employed with the Western Auto Store.
On April 12, 1968 she was united in marriage with Donald Peterson at the United Methodist Church in Winters. This union was blessed with a son, Cody and a daughter, Judy. Immediately following their marriage, Elaine and Donald lived at Petersburg, Virginia while he completed his service with the United States Army. In the fall of 1968, they moved to their farm in Smith county, Kansas where they remained until 2006, when they moved into Smith Center to live.
Elaine possessed a number of interests and activities which included serving on the Cora Township committee, volunteering her time with church, Girl Scouts and 4-H. She enjoyed her involvement with the Daveport Ladies Aid, and she liked quilting, crafts and sewing. Her greatest love and enthusiasm in life was for her family and she especially cherished being a grandmother and watching over the little ones.
Preceding her in death were her parents.
Left to treasure her memory are her husband, Donald of Smith Center, Kansas; a son, Cody Peterson and wife Shawna of Deshler, Nebraska and children, Makinna and Jacilyne; a daughter, Judy Peterson of Beloit, Kansas; a brother, Roy Paske and wife Joan of Lamesa, Texas; other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held Thursday, 11:00 a.m., January 29, 2009 at the Thornburg Church in Smith County, Kansas with Rev. Dennis Lambert officiating. Interment will be held Saturday, 10:00 a.m., January 31, 2009 at the Lakeview Cemetery in Winters, Texas with the Winters Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. A visitation will be held Friday, 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. at the Winters Funeral Home in Winters, Texas.³
