OBITUARY: DONNA I. (GRICE) PASKE
Roby-Donna I. (Grice) Paske, 85, died Monday, April 14, 2008, in Amarillo. Service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday April 17, 2008 at the First Methodist Church of Roby with Bill Fitzgerald officiating. Bural will be in Roby Cemetery under the direction of Weathersbee-Ray Funeral Home.
Donna was born on her Grandmothers farm to Mr. and Mrs. Grice. At the age of eight she moved to Roby with her mom, step-dad, and sister. She attend school in Roby and graduated in 1942. Donna attended the Harris School of Nursing and went to work at Callan Hospital. She married Marion Paske, the love of her life, in 1946 and made Roby her home. They were married for fifty-one years until Marion's death in 1997. In 2005 she moved to Amarillo to stay with her daughter and son-in-law due to poor health. A very special thanks goes out to Don, her son-in-law, who so graciously gave his love, kindness and care to a very special mom for the last three years. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister (Wilma Elam) and a very special nephew (Don Elam).
Survivors include her Son and Daughter-in-law Marion (Rusty) and Fae Paske of Kingsland. One Daughter and Son-in-law, Sherry and Don DeMoss of Amarillo. Four very special Grandchildren, Eliot Mize and wife R.J. of Hamlin. Wade Mize
and wife Jennifer of O'Brien, Dee Paske of Marble Falls and Shawn Paske of Austin. Numerous Great-grandchildren. A special Nephew Carl Elam and his wife Judy of Kansas City, MO and a special Niece Pat Hood and her husband Tommy of Snyder.

Marion (Rusty) Paske, 61, of Kingsland, passed to his Lord and Savior after a short illness on August 13, 2009. He was born to Marion Paul Paske on October 28, 1947 in Fisher County, Texas.
He married Melba (Fae) Hanson on December 16, 1978 in Kingsland,Texas. Rusty was an active member of CASI, cooking chili to support many different charities. He also loved to cruise the oceans, cook at home, and was a great socializer. He also playing and watching golf and watching the Dallas Cowboys.
Rusty is survived by his wife of 30 years, Melba (Fae) Paske, of Kingsland; daughter Deidra Dawn Paske, of Marble Falls; son, Shawn Eugene Paske, of Austin; grandchildren, Tyler Paske, of Austin, Kenda Holden, of Marble Falls, Megan Stinnett of Kingsland; sister, Sherry Demoss and husband Don, of Kingsland; step-daughters Cheryl Reed and husband Bobby, of Marble Falls, Terry Shreeve of Kingsland.
A visitation was held on Sunday August 16, 2009 at Putnam Funeral Home. Funeral services were held on Monday August 17, 2009 at the Putnam Funeral Home chapel. Interment followed at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park. An online guest register is available at www.putnam-funerals.com. Vickie Sharon Nitsch went home to be with the Lord February 3, 2007. Formerly of Odessa, Vickie worked hard for education for the Kansas National Education Association in Dodge City, KS. She graduated from Ector High School in 1961 and retired as Head Librarian from Permian High School. She then worked for the Texas State Teachers Association until she moved to Kansas.
Vickie supported many charities, including the Battered Women's Foundation of Dodge City and St. Jude's Hospital. She was known as the "Box Lady" to a class of third grade student's because she bought their school supplies and delivered the supplies and other gifts of affection to them in a big box. She was greatly loved by all who knew her. She always thought of others before herself.
Born August 18, 1943, Vickie was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Marie Brigman.
Her survivors include her sons, Skyler Nitsch of Temple, TX, Spencer Nitsch and his wife, Laura of Tulsa, OK, her granddaughter, Shara Claver, her grandson, Devin Nitsch, her brother, Rickey Brigman and his wife, Irene of Phoenix, AZ and her sister Carol Edwards of Odessa.
A family visitation will be held from 6-8 pm, Tuesday, February 6, 2007 in the chapel of Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm, Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors with Rev. David Johnson of Central Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.^6,7,8
