John PASK was born in 1864 in Newport, Monmouthshire.^4,5 He was the son of Thomas PASK and Matilda THOMAS.^2,3 In the census of 2 April 1871 in 45 Blewitt Street, St. Woollos, Newport, Monmouthshire, he was listed as aged 6 born in Newport, the grandson of John PASK.² In the census of 3 April 1881 in 48 Blewett Road, St. Woollos, Newport, Monmouthshire, he was listed as a Lathwinder aged 16 born in Magor, the son of Thomas PASK.^6,7 John served 85 days in the Welsh Regiment (No. 48434), and was discharged by purchase. He wanted to enlist in the Grenadier Guards. He then served in the Grenadier Guards from 23 July 1884 (No. 9295) until 16 July 1900.³
John married Kate ROBSON on 2 April 1896 in Cardiff Register Office, Cardiff, Glamorgan.^8,9,3
In the census of 31 March 1901 in 39 Adam Street, St. Mary, Cardiff, Glamorgan, John was listed as aged 35 born in Newport Monmouthshire, the Head of Household; a Refiner for a Copper Manufacturer, living with his wife Kate, and children Christopher, Alfred Jno, and Annie [Minnie]. They were boarders of Henry J. PEARCE, a Railway Porter.⁴ As of 1915,prior to his enlistment, John and Kate ROBSON lived at 8 Spring Street, Cwmbran, Monmouthshire.³ John served in World War I between 1915 and 1917. He enlisted at the age of 44 in the R.A.M.C "F" Coy (No. 48434) on 18 January 1915, and was discharged on medical grounds on 13 August 1917.³

     
Kate ROBSON was born in 1877.²

In the census of 31 March 1901 in 39 Adam Street, St. Mary, Cardiff, Glamorgan, she was listed as aged 28 born in Mrkt [Market] Lavington Wiltshire, the wife of John PASK (a Refiner for a Copper Manufacturer, living with his wife Kate, and children Christopher, Alfred Jno, and Annie [Minnie]. They were boarders of Henry J. PEARCE, a Railway Porter).⁶ As of 1915,prior to John's enlistment, Kate and John PASK lived at 8 Spring Street, Cwmbran, Monmouthshire.⁵
Kate died in 1958 in the Cardiff registration district.²

      Minnie Matilda was also known as Minnie M. PASK.⁴
Minnie Matilda PASK was born on 29 March 1901 in Cardiff, Glamorgan.^1,2,5 She was the daughter of John PASK and Kate ROBSON.^1,3 In the census of 31 March 1901 in 39 Adam Street, St. Mary, Cardiff, Glamorgan, she was listed as "Annie", aged 1 month born in Cardiff, the daughter of John PASK.⁶
Minnie married Ivor H. WILLIAMS in 1923 in the Cardiff registration district.^7,4
Minnie died in September 1985 in the Colwyn registration district aged 84.⁵
