Comfort Lucille Caldwell née Green
(1936-2012)
     Comfort Lucille GREEN was born on 12 March 1936 in Oakfield, Genesee County, New York State, USA.1,2 She was the daughter of Laverne Herbert GREEN and Grace Marjory PASK.1,2 In 1954, Comfort graduated from Medina High Scool, Medina, Orleans County, New York State, USA.2 She lived in Shelby, Orleans County, New York State, USA, until 1955.2
Comfort married Floyd H. CALDWELL on 3 July 1955.1
Comfort died on 28 May 2012 at the Niagara Hospice, Cambria, Niagara County, New York State, USA, at the age of 76.3,2 Her obituary was recorded in the Lockport Union-Sun & Journal Online, and reads
"Comfort L. Caldwell, of the Town of Cambria, NY, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 28, 2012, surrounded by her family and under the care of Niagara Hospice. She was born in East Oakfield, NY, on March 12, 1936, the daughter of the late LaVerne and Grace (Pask) Green, Sr.
Comfort graduated from Medina High in 1954 and had lived in East Shelby until 1955. She was employed at Starpoint Central School as a Cafeteria Worker from 1974 to 1981 and later became a librarian aide from 1982, until retiring in 1999. Comfort was a member of Pekin United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school for over 35 years, a leader of Youth Fellowship for 9 years and sang in the church choir, before becoming a member of the Community Bible Church in 1997 and sang in the choir.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Floyd H. Caldwell; two sons, Bradley (Alta Longware) Caldwell of Westport, NY and Dale (Michele) Caldwell of Centennial, CO; two granddaughters, Mikayla and Alyea Caldwell; a brother, LaVerne Green, Jr; and a sister, Debra J. Green; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Saturday at 11:00 AM, at the Community Bible Church, 4168 Church Road, Lockport, NY, with the Rev. Brad Delp officiating. Memorials may be made in her name to the Niagara Hospice or to the Community Bible Church Building Fund. Interment in Millville Cemetery, Town of Shelby, NY."

Comfort was buried on 2 June 2012 in Millville Cemetery, Shelby, Orleans County, New York State, USA, at the age of 76.2
