His wife, Lila, died on 19 October 1965 in Coudersport, Potter County, Pennsylvania, USA, at the age of 58.1,3
Blake died on 10 April 1967 in Pennsylvania, USA, at the age of 64.2 He was buried in Saint Eulalias Cemetery, Potter County, Pennsylvania, USA.4,2
