PASK, Donald George - It is with heavy hearts that the family of Don announce his passing on April 23 2012. He was made comfortable and cared for by the staff at Nipissing Manor and passed with his family nearby. Don battled cancer with such strength and determination that he far exceeded every expectation for his outcome. Don is survived by his wife Audrey (Howard-Vance), son Brian Pask and daughter Debby and husband, Jeffrey Armstrong, as well as grandchildren, Lee, Philip, Lianne, Melissa, Jeffrey, Evan and Michelle. Don also has five great grandchildren, Logan, Riley, Sophia, Willow and Cole. All will feel a void in their lives for the loss of Grampa. Previously deceased are his first wife, Muriel (Lariviere) and his youngest son, Thomas as well as his parents Daisy Mae and Clarence, his brothers Clifford, Roy and William. Don has a large extended family and all knew him as a kind and giving person, always the first to offer help. We could always count on Don. There was not a day that went by where he did not give thanks for the two beautiful women whom he was privileged to have shared his life with. His family would like to thank the staff at Nipissing Manor who treated our Don like their own family, your dedication to the job and your patient made us feel so much better. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Trenker who thoughtfully and patiently cared for Don through his long illness. Visitation will take place at MCGUINTY FUNERAL HOME on April 27 2012 at 11am. A service will follow at 2pm at the funeral home. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
