Rosetta PASK was born in 1859 in Newport, Monmouthshire.4,5,6 She was the daughter of Zaccheus PASK and Mary Anne EDWARDS.1,2 In the census of 2 April 1871 in 8 Berkely Place, Clifton, Bristol, Somerset, she was listed as aged 11 born in Newport, the daughter of Mary A DOWNS.7 In the census of 3 April 1881 in 32 Graham Street, St. Wollos, Monmouth, Monmouthshire, she was listed as aged 20 born in Newport Monmouthshire, the step daughter of William DOWNS.5 Rosetta PASK emigrated circa 1882 to Australia; Her emigration record has not been found.3

Research Note: Probably Margaret Stewart arrived as a 14 year old with her sister age 8 and father age 40, arrived in Queensland in 1871 on the Star Queen, but this has to be verified.3
