Research Note: Edward or Edwin, & George Pask are assumed to be the same person. This assumption is on the basis that his wife Mary Ann Pask née Stroud was born in Wantage, Berkshire and her age, and place of birth is consistent in the 1851-1901 censuses. Additionally, they had two children Annie Lydia (born 1877), and Edward Thomas (1880). These children were living with them in the 1881 census - when he was known as Edward, and in the 1891 census, when he was known as George. Although his age, and place of birth is not consistent, this differs in all the 1881-1901 census.¹⁴
