Sidney Robert Brown was also known as Sidney Robert B. PASK.3
Sidney Robert Brown PASK was born on 22 August 1906 in 'Highfield', Rathmore Road, Cherry Hinton, Cambridgeshire.3,4,1,2 He was the son of Robert PASK and Florence Emily BROWN.1,2 Sidney Robert Brown PASK was educated between September 1915 and July 1924 in Cambridge and County High School, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire.1 He was educated from 10 August 1925 at Christ's College, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. He graduated with a B.A. on 19 December 1927.1,5 Sidney travelled on the ship "Modasa" to Beira, Mozambique,, departing from London on 6 August 1926. He took part in the Lake Tanganyika expedition of 1926, led by Cuthbert Christie.6,7 Sidney married Catherine Dewar HENDERSON on 24 December 1929 in St. Giles Church, Edinburgh. He was a School Teacher, a Bachelor aged 23, residing at Amerland Road, Wandsworth, London. His father was listed as Robert Pask, a School Teacher, and his mother was listed as Florence Emily Pask ms Brown. The marriage was officiated by Thomas C. Snoddy, Minister of Pathhead East, Kirkcaldy. The witnesses were G.H.B. Pask of 2 Rathmore Rd., Cambridge, and M. T. Henderson of Rowanhurst, Loughborough Road, Kirkcaldy.8
Sidney died in 13 February 1980 in the Hatfield registration district aged 73.4,9 He's obituary was recorded in the His obituary reads "PASK, Mr. Sidney R. B. Pask, who died on February 13th, 1980, taught Biology at the School from 1928-1966., latterly as Head of Biology."10

Melanie continued at Imperial on receiving a Science and Engineering Research Scholarship from the World Health Organization to research Malaria Transmission and awarded her Ph.D in 1989.
Subsequently, she went to work for the National Rivers Authority and on creation of the Environmental Agency she progressed to be a Water Quality Technical Specialist.
Melanie married Nick Purdon in 1999.
We were sorry to hear of her death in April this year.2"
