In the census of 2 April 1871 in Glentworth, Lincolnshire, John was listed as the Head of Household; an Agricultural Labourer, living with his wife and son and daughter, also a granddaughter and grandson.4 John was listed as aged 70 born in Norton, the Head of Household in the census of 3 April 1881 at Glentworth, Lincolnshire, an Agricultural Labourer, living with his wife, son and grandson.5
John's death was registered in 1890 in the Gainsborough registration district.6 John was buried on 7 July 1890 in St. Michael, Glentworth, Lincolnshire.7

Louis married Eliza PASK née ? circa 1884.4
In the census of 5 April 1891 in 14 Bartholomew Close, London City, London, Louis was listed as aged 29 born in Grantham Lincolnshire, the Head of Household; a Caretaker, living with his wife Eliza, and daughter Charlotte E.4
In the census of 31 March 1901 in 4 Clifton Street, Shoreditch, London, Louis was listed as aged 46 born in Grantham Lincolnshire, the Head of Household; of no occupation, living with his wife Eliza, and daughter Charlotte.5
Louis died in 1908 in the Shoreditch registration district.6

Research Note: Louis' age at death was given as 59. However, this is believed to be incorrect. There was also inconsistencies in the 1901 census, possibly to conceal that his wife was 9 years younger than him. Additionally his marriage was not located.6
