Her husband, John, died in September 1839 in the Holbeach registration district; it was noted on baptism record of his daughter Elizabeth, he was recently deceased.1,5

In the census of 5 April 1891 at Fleet Road, Fleet, Lincolnshire, William was listed as the Head of Household; an Agricultural Labourer living with his wife Caroline and a Lodger John Sellers and visitor Annie Chambers.12
William died in December 1898 in Holbeach, Lincolnshire.13,2 William was cremated on 13 December 1898 at St. Mary's Church, Long Sutton, Lincolnshire.2
