William Bogg was baptized on 22 January 1781 in Great Steeping, Lincolnshire.1 He was the son of John Bogg and Anne Keal.1 William married Jane Hutchinson on 1 January 1801 in Spilsby, Lincolnshire, married by Tho's Booth Curate and in the presence of Moses Maidens and Miles Cook.1,2 William was listed as the Head of Household in the census of 7 June 1841 at Spilsby, Lincolnshire, a Labourer living with his wife Jane, daughter Jane and granddaughters, Mary aged 14, and Susanna aged one.3 William was listed as the Head of Household in the census of 30 March 1851 at Spilsby, Lincolnshire, a Labourer on the Roads, living with his wife, unmarried son William 43 and two granddaughters Mary Jane age 23 and Sarah Ann age 5.4 William was listed as the Head of Household in the census of 7 April 1861 at Spilsby, Lincolnshire, a Labourer on the Roads, living with his unmarried son William 53, grandaughter Mary Jane age 34 and Greatgrandson George Williamson B. aged 7.5 William died in April 1869 in the Spilsby, Lincolnshire, at age 88.6,7 William was buried on 27 April 1869 in Spilsby, Lincolnshire, at the age of 88; recorded age 89.8
