Research Note: There was two entries for the surname TETHER in the 1870/Q1 GRO Birth Registrations. These had the same reference - 7a 474. This normally indicates twins. However no additional information was found for Edward TETHER.⁵

Research Note: It is probable that Elizabeth BROWN and Ann BROWN are sisters who married PASK cousins, and then emmigrated to America. The two families lived in Elmire, and Kewanee, in Henry County, Illinois.⁹
