James married Mary PRITCHARD, daughter of Thomas PRITCHARD and Mary PASKE, in 1855 in Pontypool, Monmouthshire. He was a Bachelor aged 28, a Labourer residing in Pontypool. His father was listed as Thomas MOSES, Deceased. The marriage was witnessed by Joseph MAYMAN, and James SAUNDERS.1,2,3
In the census of 7 April 1861 in Llansoy, Monmouthshire, James was listed as the Head of Household; an Agricultural Labourer, living with his wife Mary, and their children Sidney, Decima, and Jennett. Their eldest daughter Emma was enumerated with her grandmother.2
His wife, Mary, died in July 1862 in Llansoy, Monmouthshire.4

     Emma MOSES was born in 1855 in Llansoy, Monmouthshire.2,3 She was the daughter of James MOSES and Mary PRICHARD.1 In the census of 7 April 1861 in Pentree Farm, Llansoy, Monmouthshire, she was listed as aged 6 born in Llansoy, the granddaughter of Mary PRICHARD.2

Research Note: Searched for more information on Emma, but nothing conclusive found. In the 1871 census, she could be a servant in the household of Samuel & Amelia RUGMAN. However this needs to be verified.

     James Sydney MOSES was born in 1856 in Llangwm, Monmouthshire.1,2 He was the son of James MOSES and Mary PRICHARD.1 In the census of 7 April 1861 in Llansoy, Monmouthshire, he was listed as aged 4 born in ? Monmouthshire, the son of James MOSES.1 In the census of 2 April 1871 in Field Cottage, St. Mary, Monmouth, Monmouthshire, he was listed as aged 14 born in Llangwm ?, the nephew of John PRICHARD.3
James married Sarah Hannah WATKINS in 1877 in the Monmouth registration district. They had eleven children.4,5
James died on 21 December 1922 in Monmouth, Monmouthshire.5,6

     Walter BLOWER was born in 1809 in Wonastow, Monmouthshire. He was the son of Edmund & Ann Blower née Morgan.2,3
Walter married Elizabeth PASKE, daughter of Charles PASKE and Esther EDWARDS, by license on 20 January 1834 in Cwmcarvan, Monmouthshire. She was a Spinster of the parish of Dingestow. The marriage was witnessed by William JONES and John PASKE [her brother], and Ann WILLIAMS.1,4
In the census of 6 June 1841 in Treswen Mill, Wonastow, Monmouthshire, Walter was listed as aged 30 born in Monmouthshire, the Head of Household; a Farmer, assumed to be living with his wife Elizabeth, and their children Walter, William, and Thomas. Also listed was three probable servants.5
In the census of 30 March 1851 in Lower Sallovan, Dingestow, Monmouthshire, Walter was listed as aged 42 born in Wonastow, the Head of Household; a Farmer of 200 Acres, living with his wife Elizabeth, and their children Walter, William, and Thomas. Also listed was three servants.2
In the census of 7 April 1861 in Little Treawen, Wonastow, Monmouthshire, Walter was listed as aged 52 born in Wonastow, the Head of Household; a Farmer of 45 Acres, living with his wife Elizabeth, and their children William, and 'Marianne'. Also listed was a servant John Farr, a Cowman.6

     Walter Charles BLOWER was born in 1835 in Wonastow, Monmouthshire.1 He was the son of Walter BLOWER and Elizabeth PASKE.2 In the census of 6 June 1841 in Treswen Mill, Wonastow, Monmouthshire, he was listed as aged 6 born in Monmouthshire, assumed to be the son of Walter BLOWER.2 In the census of 30 March 1851 in Lower Sallovan, Dingestow, Monmouthshire, he was listed as aged 16 born in Wonastow, the son of Walter BLOWER.1
In the census of 7 April 1861 in Talavan Farm, Dingestow, Monmouthshire, Walter was listed as unmarried aged 26 born in Dingestow, the Head of Household; a Farmer of 160 Acres employing 1 Man & 1 Boy. Also listed were five servants [including his brother] Thomas S. BLOWER.3 This farm was previously occupied by their uncle John PASKE.3
Walter married Sarah ROBERTS on 14 November 1861 in Usk, Monmouthshire. He was a Bachelor of full age, a Farmer residing at Dingerstow. His father was listed as Walter BLOWER, a Farmer. The marriage was witnessed by Daniel ROBERTS [Bride's Father], and William BLOWER [Groom's Brother].4,5,6
In the census of 2 April 1871 in Talavan Farm, Dingestow, Monmouthshire, Walter was listed as aged 36 born in Dingestow, the Head of Household; a Farmer of 180 Acres employing four labourers, living with his wife Sarah. Also listed was four servants.4
In the London Commercial Gazette on 8 July 1875 he was reported as bankrupt. It read:
BLOWER Walter Charles, Talavan Farm, Dingestow, Monmouthshire, farmer and cattle dealer. Tr., George G. Tyler, Monmouth, banker. Exam., C.C. Newport, July 27 at 10

Thereafter he was known as Charles BLOWER.7
In the census of 3 April 1881 in Prioress Mill, Llanbadoc, Monmouthshire, Charles was listed as aged 46 born in Dingestow, the Head of Household; a Miller, living with his wife Sarah. In the 1901 census, Prioress Mill was the home of his brother-in-law Thomas REES.8
In the census of 5 April 1891 in Railway Street, Caerleon, Monmouthshire, Charles was listed as aged 56 born in Monmouthshire, the Head of Household; a Cattle Dealer, living with his wife Sarah.9
In the census of 31 March 1901 in Railway Street, Caerleon, Monmouthshire, W. was listed as aged 66 born in Wonastow, the Head of Household; a Cattle Dealer, living with his wife Sarah.10
Walter died in 1903 in the Newport registration district.11,12
His wife, Sarah, died on 3 April 1905 in "Brynhyfryd", Station Road, Caerleon, Monmouthshire.13

     Sarah REES was born in 1878 in Itton, Monmouthshire.1,2 She was the daughter of Thomas REES and Mary Ann BLOWER.1 In the census of 3 April 1881 in Pandy Mill, Itton, Monmouthshire, she was listed as aged 2 born in Itton, the daughter of Thomas REES.1 In the census of 5 April 1891 in Pandy Mill, Itton, Monmouthshire, she was listed as aged 12 born in Itton, the daughter of Thomas REES.3 In the census of 31 March 1901 in Prioress Mill, Llanbadoc, Monmouthshire, she was listed as aged 22 born in Itton, the daughter of Thomas REES.4
