Her husband, Augustus, died on 12 January 1896 in Cardiff Infirmary, Cardiff, Glamorgan; He was employed as a Carpenter at the New Post Office, Westgate Street, Cardiff. At the time of his accident he lived at Copper Street, Cardiff. On the 21 December 1895 by some means the scaffolding gave way and he fell to the floor across some girders. He was picked up unconscious and conveyed to the infirmary where he died from the injuries received at 7am on the 12 January 1896. Dr Roberts attended while in the infirmary. His brother Richard Pask, of 3 Cooper Street, identified the body. The resulf of the inquest held on 14 January 1896 was that he died from injuries accidentally falling from some scaffolding.^8,5,9
