John married Edith Annie PASK, daughter of Thomas PASK and Annie SCOFFINS, in 1903 in the Grantham registration district.4,5

Research Note: There were several children called MUNTON born in the Grantham registration district in the period 1901-1911. It was assumed that they were John & Edith MUNTON née PASK's children. However there was also Herbert & Eliza Munton née Morley, who all immigrated to Canada in 1912..6

     Philip G. PASK was born on 30 April 1915, in the Mansfield registration district.3,2 He was the son of John Edward PASK and Lizzie L. TOMPKINS.1 Philip married Joan BUCKSEY on 21 October 1944 in Christchurch, Alverstoke, Hampshire. He was an Accountant, aged 29, residing at 46 Tring Road, Aylesbury, Bucks. His father was listed as John Edward PASK. Sergeant R.H.A.4,5
Philip died on 13 August 1991, at the age of 76, and his death was registered in the Lincoln registration district.6

George Edward PASK was born in the 16 July 1894 in Female Hospital, Raglan Barracks, Devonport, Devon.2,1,3 He was the son of George Thomas PASK and Mary WEBB.2,3 In the census of 31 March 1901 in 35 Corinthian Street, Seaforth, Lancashire, he was listed as aged 6 born in Devonport, the son of George PASK.2 George enlisted in the 3rd Welch Regiment in World War I on 15 May 1915 at Pembroke, Pembrokeshire, His attestation papers showed that he was aged 20 years and 272 days, he weighed 114lbs, and was 5ft 3½ins. His next of kin was given as George Thomas Pask of Sageston, Milton Pembrokeshire. He was discharged on 25 June 1915 because he had pronounced hallux vagus and was unable to march


He was discharged on 25 December 1916 as unfit for service.4

John married Fanny MELBOURN in 1888 in the Sleaford registration district.3,4
In the census of 5 April 1891 in Chesterfield Street, Carlton, Nottinghamshire, John was listed as aged 25 born in Freiston, the Head of Household; an Platelayer Labourer, living with his wife Fanny, and son John W. Also listed was a lodger William MELBOURNE [brother-in-law], aged 23 born in Cranwell.5 His wife, Fanny, was buried on 10 November 1894 in St. Andrew, Cranwell, Lincolnshire.6
In the census of 31 March 1901 in Cranwell, Lincolnshire, John was listed as aged 35 born in Caythorpe, the Head of Household; an Agricultural Labourer, a widower, living with his sons John W., Charles H., James M. Also listed was a visitor Annie ANDREWS aged 22 born in Leasingham.7
John married Ellen BUCKBERRY in 1902 in the Sleaford registration district.8

James Melbourn PASK was born in 1894 in Cranwell, Lincolnshire.2,1 He was the son of John Frederick PASK and Fanny MELBOURN.2,3,1 In the census of 31 March 1901 in Cranwell, Lincolnshire, he was listed as aged 6 born in Cranwell, the son of John F. PASK.2 James served in World War I in the Pas-de-Calais. He was Private 3068 in the Lincolnshire Regiment Unit 1st/4th Battalion.3
James was killed in action on 13 October 1915, fighting in World War I in Loos-en-Gohelle, Pas-de-Calais, France.3 James is commemorated in perpetuity in Loos-en-Gohelle, Pas-de-Calais, France, and at St Denys Church, Sleaford in three places - on the Roll of Honour Memorial, in the transept on the Sleaford Company Church Lads Brigade Memorial, and in the nave on the Great War Memorial.3
