John married Elsie Lucy Mary PASK, daughter of Henry PASK and Mary SHAW, on 22 May 1904 in Christ Church, Battersea, London. He was a Bachelor aged 21, a Carman residiing at 4 Simpson Street. His father was listed as John Henry Woodward (deceased), a Horse Keeper. The marriage was witnessed by Henry PASK [father of the bride], and Mary NEAL.1,3,2
In the census of 2 April 1911 in 135a Sydenham Road, Sydenham, Kent, John was listed as aged 28 born in Walworth, the Head of Household; a Carman, living with his wife Elsie, and children John, Lucy, and William. Also listed was his brother-in-law Arthur.4
His wife, Elsie, died on 12 February 1915 at their home at 6 Kent House Road, Lewisham, London, at the age of 31. He was the informant when he registered the death on 13 February 1915. His occupation at that time was a Furniture Removers Carman.5,6,7,8
At the time of his son's marriage in in 1934, he was listed as a Furniture Porter.2

John married Edith Annie PASK, daughter of Thomas PASK and Annie SCOFFINS, in 1903 in the Grantham registration district.4,5
In the census of 2 April 1911 in 16 Queen Street, Grantham, Lincolnshire, John was listed as aged 34 born in Leesthorpe Leicestershire, the Head of Household; a Platelayer on the Great Northern Railway, living with his wife Edith Annie, and their children Percy Harold, and Ada Annie. Also listed was a Boarder, Joseph BRUNT.6
His wife, Edith, died in 1944 in the Grantham registration district.7
John died in 1950 in the Grantham registration district.8

Research Note: There were several children called MUNTON born in the Grantham registration district in the period 1901-1911. It was assumed that they were John & Edith MUNTON née PASK's children. However there was also Herbert & Eliza Munton née Morley, who all immigrated to Canada in 1912..9

Gertrude was the partner of (?) HUME. They never married as Mr. Hume died in action in France during WWI.5,3,6

     Philip Gordon Lydd PASK was born on 30 April 1915, in the Mansfield registration district.4,2 He was the son of John Edward PASK and Lizzie L. TOMPKINS.1 He was baptised on 30 May 1915 in St. John the Baptist, Tibshelf, Derbyshire.3
On 29 September 1939, in the 1939 National Register, Lizzie was listed as living in 46 Tring Road, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. He was born on 30 April 1915, and his occupation was a Managing Clerk To Company Of Ironmongers & Builders. There were five people in the household - Lizzie and her step-daughter Eileen Godwin, and her son Philip. Also listed was Winifred M. SIMPSON, and Patrick N. SIMPSON.5
Philip married Joan BUCKSEY on 21 October 1944 in Christchurch, Alverstoke, Hampshire. He was an Accountant, aged 29, residing at 46 Tring Road, Aylesbury, Bucks. His father was listed as John Edward PASK. Sergeant R.H.A.6,7

He was listed in the census of 2 April 1911 at 33 Westeria Terrace, Devonport, Devon. He was living with his parents, Charles & Martha REDDCLIFF née OSBORN, together with his sisters Ada, Ivy, Bessie, and Violet. He was listed as a Labourer in the Brewery, aged 18 born in Penpathy Denlole.3
William married Winifred M. PASK, daughter of George Thomas PASK and Mary WEBB, in 1916 in the Plympton registration district.4
On 29 September 1939, in the 1939 National Register, William and his wife Winifred, were listed as living in 13 Holly Grove, Plymouth, Devon. He was born on 2 March 1892, and his occupation was a Crane Driver at the HM Dockyard. Also listed was their two sons Willliam G., and Harold C. His parents were living at 8 Holly Grove - Charles REDDCLIFF born 12 Oct 1863, and Martha REDDCLIFF born 10 July 1861.2

     George Edward PASK was born on 16 July 1894 the Female Hospital, Raglan Barracks, Devonport, Devon.2,1,3 He was the son of George Thomas PASK and Mary WEBB.2,3
In the census of 31 March 1901 in 35 Corinthian Street, Seaforth, Lancashire, he was listed as aged 6 born in Devonport, the son of George PASK.2
In the census of 2 April 1911 in Sadgeston Milton, Carew, Pembrokeshire, he was listed as an Apprentice Shoeing Smith, aged 16 born in Cornwall, the nephew of John WEBB, a Shoeing and General Smith (his deceased mother's brother.)4

George enlisted in the 3rd Welsh Regiment in World War I on 15 May 1915 at Pembroke, Pembrokeshire. His Regimental Number was 37597. His attestation papers showed that he was aged 20 years and 272 days, he weighed 114lbs, and was 5ft 3½ins. His next of kin was given as George Thomas Pask of Sageston, Milton Pembrokeshire. He was discharged on 25 June 1915 because he had pronounced hallux vagus (bunions) and was quite unable to march.


However, he enlisted again, as a Shoeing Smith, at Weeton Camp, Yorkshire. His Regimental Number was 696146. He was attached to the 57th Division Ammunition Column, which was a Territorial Division, raised in Lancashire in 1915. The Division moved to France between 7 and 22 February 1917, and moved to positions near Ypres, where they took part in the Second Battle of Passchendaele, which is where George was wounded..5,6,7

George died as a result of his wounds on 20 October 1917 in Belgium.7,6 George is commemorated in perpetuity in Grave I. K. 4., Cement House Cemetery, Langemark-Poelkapelle, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium.7,8,9 George is commemorated in perpetuity in Carew Cheriton Tower War Memorial, Carew, Pembrokeshire; He is also remembered on Carew Cheriton Tower War Memorial, Carew, Pembrokeshire.

John Frederick PASK was born on 30 May 1865 in Frieston, Lincolnshire.1,4 He was the son of Harriet PASK.4 In the census of 2 April 1871 in Holdingham, Lincolnshire, he was listed as "Frederick ANDREW" aged 5 born in Frieston, the son of James ANDREWS.2 In the census of 3 April 1881 in Leasingham, Lincolnshire, he was listed as a Labourer aged 15 born in Frieston, the son of James ANDREWS.3
John married Fanny MELBOURN in 1888 in the Sleaford registration district.5,6

PASK.2 In the census of 2 April 1911 in Holdingham, Sleaford, Lincolnshire, he was listed as an Apprentice Carpenter, aged 16 born in Cranwell, the son of John Frederick PASK.4 James served in World War I in the Pas-de-Calais, France. He was Private 3068 in the Lincolnshire Regiment Unit 1st/4th Battalion.3

Helen BUCKBERRY was born in 1868 in North Road, Sleaford, Lincolnshire. She was the daughter of John & Elizabeth BUCKBERRY née STUBLEY.4,3 In the census of 2 April 1871 in North Road, Sleaford, Lincolnshire, she was listed as aged 3 born in Sleaford, the daughter of John & Elizabeth BUCKBERRY. Also listed were her siblings Hannah, Mary Jane, Ellen, and John Tom.5
Ellen married John Frederick PASK, son of Harriet PASK, on 17 June 1902 in St. Andrew's Church, Leasingham, Lincolnshire.3,1,6,7
In the census of 2 April 1911 in Holdingham, Sleaford, Lincolnshire, she was listed as aged 43 born in Sleaford, the wife of John Frederick PASK (a Woodman, living with his wife Ellen, and sons John William, and James Melbourn.)8
