Kevin writes: "Eric married and had a child, Roy in 1958. Eric made quite a bit of money selling net curtains and retired early to Spain, opening a bar in Benidorm. Roy attended boarding school in the UK and later became a policeman in Leeds. Eric divorced, contracted cancer and returned to the UK where he died under the care of his (ex) mother in law. He and my father were both very fast bowlers and, together with my uncle, John, formed the nucleus of many Elmswell cricket teams. There were pictures of them on the wall of the village pub the last time I attended a family wedding.3"
