George married Muriel J. BARKER in 1939 in the Bury St. Edmunds registration district. They met when they were both in service at Ickworth House, Horringer, he was an under-footman and she as fifth housemaid.3,1 He was a Bury Free Press correspondent for over 50 years, since December 20 1946.1
George died on 27 March 1999, at the age of 83, and his death was registered in the Bury St. Edmunds registration district.4,1

Research Note: There is a probability that Edward PASK, and Fred PASK were part of a first-aid party involved after the bombing of Ransome & Marles factory in Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire.
Newark was attacked regularly because of its significance to airfields and war work carried out within the area. The most significant attack was on Friday, 7th March 1941 when two German planes dropped a series of 10 bombs on and around Ransome and Marles who made ball bearings for naval gun turrets. A total of 41 people were killed with a further 165 being injured.
A permanent memorial to the 41 killed was erected in Newark-on-Trent cemetery on 7 March 2011, the 70th anniversary of the bombing.
The website lists an E. & F. Pask in the First-Aid Parties.6
