Albert Tintern AYERS was born on 9 January 1875, the son of William AYERS & Ann Maria GOUGH. He was born on the ship "Tintern Abbey", Bay of Biscay, Atlantic Ocean, whilst his parents and four siblings were emigrating to Lyttleton, New Zealand.2,3,4
Albert married Mary PASK, daughter of James PASK and Mary ALLEN, on 25 April 1900.1,2,3 Albert Tintern and Ernest Robert were brothers, who married PASK sisters.3
Albert died on 29 May 1916 at the age of 41.2 Albert was buried on 1 June 1916 in Plot 765 Row 83, Feilding Cemetery, Feilding, Manawatu District, New Zealand.5

James died on 10 December 1971 in Timaru, Canterbury, at the age of 83.6 James was a Farm Worker around the Feilding area of New Zealand and came to Edendale Southland about 1935 to be a farmer on land he purchased. My father worked on the farm and took it over with his brother Roy when James retired.6
Research Note: James was the grandfather of researcher Laurence Pask.6
