In the census of 7 April 1861 in Pickworth, Lincolnshire, she was listed as the wife of William SHIELDS (an Agricultural Labourer, living with his wife, two sons and three daughters).1 In the census of 2 April 1871 in 6 North Lane, Pickworth, Lincolnshire, she was listed as aged 47 born in Long Bennington, the wife of William SHIELDS; formerly an Agricultural Labourer living with his wife Sarah and daughter Mary and son William.2

Alice married Thomas SHIELDS, son of Mark SHIELDS and Elizabeth ARMSTON, in 1839.2,4 In the census of 7 June 1841 in Lenton, Lincolnshire, she was listed as aged 20, assumed to be the wife of Thomas SHIELDS (an Agricultural Labourer, assumed to be living with his wife Alice and infant daughter Elizabeth).5 In the census of 30 March 1851 in Pickworth, Lincolnshire, she was listed as aged 34 born in Haceby, the wife of Thomas SHIELDS (a Farmer of 68 Acres employing 1 Labourer, living with his wife Alice, and five children Elizabeth Margaret, William, Fanny, Emma, and Mary Jane. Also living with them was two servants, William BESKABY and Ann DIGBY).3 In the census of 7 April 1861 in Pickworth, Lincolnshire, she was listed as aged 44 born in Haceby, the wife of Thomas SHIELDS (a Farmer of 60 acres, living with his wife Alice, and children William, Fanny, Emma, Mary Jane, Alice, Thomas, and John Henry).1

John Henry SHIELDS Snr was born in 1859 in Pickworth, Lincolnshire.1,2 He was the son of Thomas SHIELDS and Alice LUPTON.1 In the census of 7 April 1861 in Pickworth, Lincolnshire, he was listed as aged 1 born in Pickworth, the son of Thomas SHIELDS.1 John married Harriett HAMMOND in 1880 in Ropsley, Lincolnshire. They had three children.2 John and Harriett lived at Pickworth, Pinchbeck, and Spalding, Lincolnshire.2 John married Sarah Jane FIELDHOUSE in 1891 in Calverley, Bradford, Yorkshire. They had six children, the last of which died in infancy.2
John died in 1923 in Bradford, Yorkshire.2

Sydney married Edith Emily GOLDSMITH on 5 March 1904 in Great Chesterford, Essex. He was a Poor Law Officer, a Bachelor aged 31, residing at Great Chesterford, Essex. His father was listed as Joseph Pask, a Timber Merchant (Deceased). The marriage was witnessed by Arthur Goldsmith & Maude Ethel Goldsmith.6,7,8
Sydney died on 6 September 1913 in 10 Hammond Road, Great Chesterford, Essex. At the time of his death he was a Time Keeper at the Brewery.9,10

Her father was with her.10 In the census of 31 March 1901 in Street Farm, Woolpit, Suffolk, she was listed as a general servant domestic of Adam Lord, a retired farmer.4
Ruth married John SIMPSON, son of Walter SIMPSON and Rebecca ALEXANDER, on 29 November 1903 in St. Mary's, Woolpit, Suffolk. The marriage was witnessed by Edward SIMPSON and Kate Susanna SIMPSON. Ruth was aged 24 residing in Woolpit. Her father was listed as Joseph Willis PASK, a Timber Merchant.11,12,13,14

A christening gown was made from Ruth Minnie PASK's wedding dress by her daughter Daisy. It was first used for the christening of Ruth's granddaughter Sheila Margaret Simpson. It was also used, over 70 years later, for the christening of Ruth's great-great-great grandson Elisha Daniel Karg.18

Charles PASK was born in 1881 in Kexby, Lincolnshire.2,3 He was the son of John Henry PASK and Annie DICKINSON.2 In the census of 5 April 1891 in Kexby, Lincolnshire, he was listed as the son of John H. PASK.2 In the census of 31 March 1901 in North Road, Ranskill, Nottinghamshire, he was listed as a Railway Engine Cleaner, aged 19 born in Kexby Lincolnshire, the son of Henry PASK.4
Charles married Mary Maria LANE in 1903 in the East Retford registration district.5,6 He was listed in the census of 2 April 1911 at East Retford, Nottinghamshire.7
His wife, Mary, died in 1955 in the East Retford registration district.8
Charles died in 1960 in the Worksop registration district.9
