In the census of 3 April 1881 in 13 Northgate Road, Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, he was listed as the son of Joseph Willis PASK.4 In the census of 5 April 1891 in "Hereford Arms", 127 Gloucester Road, Kensington, London, he was listed as a Potman aged 18 born in Bury St. Edmunds.5,6 Sydney served in the Royal Artillery from 21 December 1892 to 20 December 1904. He served in Aden for 115 days, and India for 6 years 9 days. His attestaton papers show that he a Barman, 5 feet 7 7/8 inches tall, weighed 146 lbs, of fair complexion with blue eyes and brown hair. He had a mole on his back. His next of kin was Joseph Pask of 2 Northgate Street, Bury St. Edmunds. At the time of his discharge, he was living at 2 Barn Lane, Eastgate Street, Bury St. Edmunds.7
He was listed in the census of 31 March 1901 at Devonport, Plymouth, Devon, a Gunner in the Royal Garrison Artillery, aged 28 born in Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk.8
Sydney married Edith Emily GOLDSMITH on 5 March 1904 in Great Chesterford, Essex. He was a Poor Law Officer, a Bachelor aged 31, residing at Great Chesterford, Essex. His father was listed as Joseph Pask, a Timber Merchant (Deceased). The marriage was witnessed by Arthur Goldsmith & Maude Ethel Goldsmith.9,10,11 At the time of his death he was a Time Keeper at the Brewery, and lived at 10 Hammond Road, Great Yarmouth, Norfok.12
Sydney died on 6 September 1913 in Great Chesterford, Essex.13,12

Her mother, Kate, died on 1 February 1884 in Northgate Road, Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk.6,7,8,9 She was listed as aged 11, a Boarder of Rebecca FRANCIS (a Lodging House Keeper) in the census of 5 April 1891 in 16 Long Brackland, St. James, Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk. Her father was with her.10 In the census of 31 March 1901 in Street Farm, Woolpit, Suffolk, she was listed as a general servant domestic of Adam Lord, a retired farmer.4
Ruth married John SIMPSON, son of Walter SIMPSON and Rebecca ALEXANDER, on 29 November 1903 in St. Mary's Church, Woolpit, Suffolk. The marriage was witnessed by Edward SIMPSON and Kate Susanna SIMPSON. Ruth was aged 24 residing in Woolpit. Her father was listed as Joseph Willis PASK, a Timber Merchant.11,12,13

Ruth was in a photograph holding her baby great-granddaughter Ann Maria WALLIS taken in 1951.15
Ruth died on 24 March 1955 in Mill Lane, Woolpit, Suffolk.16 A christening gown was made from Ruth Minnie PASK's wedding dress by her daughter Daisy. It was first used for the christening of Ruth's granddaughter Sheila Margaret Simpson. It was also used, over 70 years later, for the christening of Ruth's great-great-great grandson Elisha Daniel Karg.17
