     John Charles KERR was born in 1848.¹
John married Mary Ann Paske PERIAM, daughter of William PERIAM and Sarah PASKE, on 18 February 1875 in The Parish Church, Poplar, London. He was a Batchelor of full age, a Mariner residing in Stepney. His father was listed as John Kerr, a Victualler. The marriage was witnessed by John Agustine KERR, and Elizabeth Susannah PERIAM, Louisa CHANDLER, and Amelia KERR.^1,2
On 4 January 1876, at the time of the baptism of their daughter Louisa Chandler KERR, John and Mary lived in 22 Pigott Street, Limehouse, London. John was a Mate of a Ship.³
On 13 February 1878, at the time of the baptism of their son Henry Augustine KERR, John and Mary lived in 12 Hind Street, Poplar, London. John was a Mariner.⁴

His wife, Mary, died on 6 March 1886 in 33 Gibson Buildings, Hackney, London, at the age of 29; She died in childbirth. The informant, and present at the death, was F. PASKE, who resided at 24 Lewsin, West Hackney.^1,6,7

"After Mary Ann Pask Kerr died, my Great Grandfather John Charles Kerr went onto become a Captain on the White Star Line and is said to have captained the ship that brought Princess Mary of Teck to England to marry the future King George V. John's youngest son from his second marriage, Alexander (my half great uncle) was second Engineer on Ernest Shackleton's expedition to the Antarctic in 1914 and was one of those who lived for 3 months in an upturned lifeboat while awaiting rescue."^8,9

     Thomas Charles KERR was born in 1882.¹ He was the son of John Charles KERR and Mary Ann Paske PERIAM.¹ In the census of 5 April 1891 in 8 Kings Road, East Ham, Essex, he was listed as aged 8 born in Poplar, the [step] son of Emily Susan KERR.²

     Frederick Paske KERR was born in 1884 in Poplar, London.^2,1 He was the son of John Charles KERR and Mary Ann Paske PERIAM.² In the census of 5 April 1891 in 8 Kings Road, East Ham, Essex, he was listed as aged 7 born in Poplar, the [step] son of Emily Susan KERR.²
Frederick died in 1958 in the Wallasey registration district.³

In the census of 5 April 1891 in 8 Kings Road, East Ham, Essex, Emily was listed as the Head of Household; living with her [step] children Henry, John, Thomas, and "Fredrick", and her daughters Emily, and Marion. Her husband John Charles was not at home on the night of the census.¹

     Arthur married Ada Annie MUNTON, daughter of John William MUNTON and Edith Annie PASK, in 1933 in the Grantham registration district.¹

     George married Jessie PASK, daughter of Thomas Edward PASK and Clara Annie CROFTS, in 1911 in the Newark-on-Trent registration district.¹

     Joseph PATCHETT was born on 11 May 1866 in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire.^1,2,3
Joseph married Elizabeth PASK, daughter of John PASK and Elizabeth FRANCIS, in 1898.¹
In the census of 2 April 1911 in 112 Rupert Street, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, Joseph was listed as aged 44 born in Nottingham, the Head of Household; a "Pavor" for the Midland Railway, living with his wife Elizabeth, and brother[-in-law] Joseph PASK.¹
On 29 September 1939, in the 1939 National Register, Joseph and his wife Elizabeth, were listed as living in 5 Glebe Cottages, Wilford, West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire. He was born on 11 May 1866, and his occupation was a Pensioner.²
His wife, Elizabeth, died in 1945 in the Basford registration district.⁴

     Sarah Ann PARNHAM was born in 1851 in Ancaster, Lincolnshire.² She was the daughter of Henry PARNHAM.² In the census of 2 April 1871 in Wilsford, Lincolnshire, she was listed as a Dressmaker, aged 28 born in Ancaster, the daughter of Henry PARNHAM. Also listed was her daughter Julia P., and a Lodger John PASK. In fact he was Sarah Ann's future husband, and father of Julia.²
Sarah married John PASK, son of Samuel PASK and Elizabeth TINSLEY, in 1877 in the Sleaford registration district.^1,3
In the census of 3 April 1881 in Wilsford Road, Wilsford, Lincolnshire, she was listed as aged 30 born in Ancaster, the wife of John PASK (an Agricultural Labourer, living with his wife Sarah Ann, and their children Herbert, and Elizabeth Ann. Also listed was Henry PARNHAM, a Lodger aged 25 born in Ancaster.)⁴
In the census of 5 April 1891 in 4 Malkiln House, Grantham Road, South Rauceby, Lincolnshire, she was listed as "Mary Ann", a Dressmaker aged 48 born in Ancaster, the wife of John PASK (an Agricultural Labourer, living with his wife "Mary Ann", and their daughter Elizabeth Ann.)⁵

In the census of 2 April 1911 in Ancaster, Lincolnshire, she was listed as a Dressmaker aged 68 born in Ancaster, married with 2 children both living, the wife of John PASK (a Waggoner on Farm, living with his wife Sarah Ann.)⁷

     Herbert was also known as Herbert Pask PARNHAM.²
Herbert Pask PARNHAM was born in 1874 in Wilsford, Lincolnshire.^2,1,3 He was the son of John PASK and Sarah Ann PARNHAM.^2,4 In the census of 3 April 1881 in Wilsford Road, Wilsford, Lincolnshire, he was listed as aged 7 born in Wilsford, the son of John PASK.¹
Herbert married Lydia Louisa RUSSELL on 15 April 1895 in All Souls' Church, Harlesden, London. He was a Bachelor aged 26, an Under Butler residing at Calthorpe. His father was listed as John Pask, a Waggoner. The marriage was witnessed by S. E. HILBEY, and L. RUSSELL.⁴
In the census of 2 April 1911 in Dunsmore, Warwickshire, Herbert was listed as aged 37 born in Ancaster, the Head of Household; a Butler, living with his wife Louisa Lydia, and their children Winifred E. E., and Flora B.⁵
At the time of his death, Herbert lived at 28 Kingsley Avenue, Rugby, Warwickshire.⁶
Herbert died on 11 September 1949 and his death was registered in the Rugby registration district.^3,7 He was buried in Plot H265, Clifton Road Cemetery, Rugby, Warwickshire; The inscription reads:
His estate was probated to Louisa Lydia PASK and Winifred Elsie Helen PASK on 19 November 1949 at London Probate Registry, London.⁷
His wife, Lydia, died in 26 May 1950 in the Rugby registration district.^9,10

     Julia Pask PARNHAM was born in 1870 in Ancaster, Lincolnshire.^1,2 She was the daughter of John PASK and Sarah Ann PARNHAM.¹ In the census of 2 April 1871 in Wilsford, Lincolnshire, she was listed as aged 1 born in Ancaster, the granddaughter of Henry PARNHAM.²
Julia died in infancy in 1872 in the Sleaford registration district at the age of 2 years.³

In the census of 2 April 1871 in Wilsford, Lincolnshire, Henry was listed as a Widower aged 52, the Head of Household; an Agricultural Labourer living with his daughter Sarah Ann, granddaughter Julia P., and a Lodger John Pask, a Labourer aged 25 from Caythorpe. In fact, John Pask was his future son-in-law, and also the father of his granddaughter.¹
