The funeral service and committal will take place at St. Andrew's United Reformed Church, Roundhay on Tuesday 19th January at 1.00pm followed by private cremation. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu for Guide Dogs for the Blind may be given at the service.

James married Rebeka PASK, daughter of Isaac PASK and Elizabeth STEPHENS, on 6 July 1850 in Register Office, Newport, Monmouthshire. The marriage was witnessed by B. Samuel and William R. POTTER. He was a Labourer, aged 22 a Bachelor residing at Llandevaud. His father was listed as James Hodges, a Smith.3,4,5,2,6 James HODGES and Rebeka PASK were baptized in the LDS church on 11 August 1850.7 James HODGES was ordained on 17 March 1851.7
In the census of 30 March 1851 in Llandevaud, Monmouthshire, he was listed as a Labourer, aged 22 born in Llanmartin, the son-in-law of Isaac PASK.8,1 James HODGES emigrated in 1866 to Salt Lake Valley, Utah, USA, He sailed on the "St Mark" from Liverpool to New York on 6 June 1866 ticket no. 655 arriving 26 July 1866. He joined a Nebraska wagon train on 8 August, that arrived in Salt Lake Valley on 8 October 1866, but James had died on the way.9,10,11
James died on 25 September 1866 in Farson, Sweetwater County, Wyoming, USA, at the age of 38.9,12
James was buried on 2 October 1866 in USA at the age of 38.

In the census of 30 March 1851 in Bansfield Road, Wickhambrook, Suffolk, he was listed as aged 16 born in Wickhambrook, the son of James PASKE.4 Joseph married Emma HALE on 27 March 1857 in Denham, Suffolk. He was a bachelor of full age, a Miller living in Lawshall. His father was listed as James Pask, a Farmer. The marriage was witnessed by William ALSTONE and Hannah Silvester? HALE.1 In the census of 7 April 1861 in Lawshall, Suffolk, Joseph was listed as aged 26 born in Wickhambrook, the Head of Household a Miller employing 1 man, living with his wife Emma, and a nephew James BORLEY aged 14 born in Cockfield.5 In the census of 2 April 1871 in Most Mill, Great Whelnetham, Suffolk, Joseph was listed as aged 33 born in Wickhambrook, the Head of Household a Miller, living with his wife Emma and sister-in-law Hanah HALE, and a servant Edward SMITH?6 In the census of 3 April 1881 in Mill House, Great Whelnetham, Suffolk, Joseph was listed as aged 43 born in Wickhambrook, the Head of Household a Miller, living with his wife Emma and sister-in-law Hannah HAVEL, and a visitor Sarah JACKSON.7 In the census of 5 April 1891 in Mill House, Stummingfield Road, Great Whelnetham, Suffolk, Joseph was listed as aged 55 born in Wickhambrook, the Head of Household a Farmer & Miller, living with his wife Emma and a visitor [sister-in-law] Hannah HALE.8
Joseph died on 8 March 1900 in Great Whelnetham, Suffolk, at the age of 65.9,10,11,12
Joseph was buried on 13 March 1900 in St. Thomas à Becket Church, Great Whelnetham, Suffolk, at the age of 65; His memorial inscription reads "Joseph PASK, who departed this life March 8th 1900, aged 66 years
Thy purpose, Lord, we cannot see,
But all is well that's done by Thee". His wife Emma, was buried with him in January 1914.13,14,15,12
His estate was probated on 14 April 1900 in Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk.10
His wife, Emma, died on 4 January 1914 in Great Whelnetham, Suffolk, at the age of 80.16,12,17

In the census of 30 March 1851 in 80 Field Lane, Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, she was listed as aged 43 born in Sudbury, the wife of James PASK; living with his wife Harriett Elizabeth, and their children James William, Mary Ann, Henry, and Edward Mills, Jemima, and Oliver. Some of the ages of the children have been enumerated incorrectly.3
In the census of 7 April 1861 in Cemetery Road, Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, she was listed as aged 52 born in Sudbury, the wife of James PASK; a Leather Cutters Assistant and occasional local Baptist preacher, living with his wife Harriet Elizth, and children Mary Ann, Edwd Mills, and Oliver.7
