Mary married John Clifton LANE on 15 July 1918 in St. Sebastian, Great Gonerby, Lincolnshire. She wore a grey crepe-de-chine dress and hat to match, trimmed with pink roses and mauve leaves, was given away by her father. She was attended by her sister, Miss Evelyn Pulling, and her cousin Miss Doris Pask. The best man was Mr. J. Clayton, of Lincoln. Afterwards a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, and later the happy couple proceeded to Lincoln, their future home. They were the recipients of many handsome and useful presents.3,4
