Mary Helen PULLING was born on 12 January 1895 in High Street, Great Gonerby, Lincolnshire.2,1,3 She was the daughter of Albert PULLING and Mary Jane PASK.2 Mary Helen PULLING was baptised on 29 March 1895 in St. Sebastian, Great Gonerby, Lincolnshire.3 In the census of 31 March 1901 in High Street, Great Gonerby, Lincolnshire, she was listed as aged 6 born in Gt. Gonerby, the daughter of Albert PULLING.2
Mary married John Clifton LANE on 15 July 1918 in St. Sebastian, Great Gonerby, Lincolnshire. She wore a grey crepe-de-chine dress and hat to match, trimmed with pink roses and mauve leaves, was given away by her father. She was attended by her sister, Miss Evelyn Pulling, and her cousin Miss Doris Pask. The best man was Mr. J. Clayton, of Lincoln. Afterwards a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, and later the happy couple proceeded to Lincoln, their future home. They were the recipients of many handsome and useful presents.4,5,3 Mary Helen PULLING witnessed the baptism of Michael WOOD on 11 July 1937 in St. Sebastian, Great Gonerby, Lincolnshire; His godparents were John Clifton & Mary Helen LANE née PULLING, and William Arthur PULLING.6
Her husband, John, died in St. Mary's Hospital, Dunstable Road, Luton, Bedfordshire.3
Mary died on 16 February 1962 in 8 Swift Gardens, Lincoln, Lincolnshire, at the age of 67.3,7 Mary was cremated on 20 February 1962 at the Grimsby Crematorium, Weelsy Avenue, Grimsby, Lincolnshire, at the age of 67.3
