Emily Catherine PASK was born on 23 December 1828.¹ She was the daughter of Joseph PASK and Emily LOMAX.^1,2 Emily Catherine PASK was baptised on 8 January 1829 in Saint Marys Square-Wesleyan, Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk.¹ Emily married John CUTTING on 29 July 1852 in Whepstead, Suffolk. The marriage was witnessed by Joseph PASK, and Phebe CUTTING. She was a Spinster of full age, residing at Whepstead. Her father was listed as Joseph PASK, a Schoolmaster.^3,2,4
In the census of 2 April 1871 in Great Livermere, Suffolk, she was listed as aged 42 born in Bury St. Edmunds, the wife of John CUTTING (a Farmer, employing 7 men, living with his wife Emily C., and seven children Joseph, Caroline, John, Catherine, Jane, Charles, and Phebe Maria. Also listed was two servants Fanny BULLEN, and Beth CUTTING).⁵

Arthur PASK was born on 19 September 1882 in Haverhill, Suffolk.^1,3,4,2 He was the son of Stephen Cornell PASK and Maria PHILLIPS.^1,2 In the census of 5 April 1891 in 38 Duddery Road, Haverhill, Suffolk, he was listed as the son of Stephen Cornell PASK.¹ In the census of 31 March 1901 in Ipswich Road, Stowmarket, Suffolk, he was listed as a Carpenter, aged 18 born in Haverhill, a Boarder of Arthur Bird and his family.⁵ Arthur emigrated to Canada 1903. He was a Carpenter and built many of the buildings in the local homesteads, including Aubrey's house. He joined the Army in 1915. They farmed until 1928 when they returned to England. He had poor health due to being gassed in World War I.^2,6
