Research Note: There are some descrepancies over his date of birth. Originally, in 2005, it was understood that George died c1957 in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey. However at that time no death was found. After an exchange of e-mails with his granddaughter Julie, his death showed he died in Surrey in 1963, however his death registration gave his age as 49 (born in 1914), not 56. His age at the time of marriage to Rosemary WOODMAN indicates he was born in 1910.^5,4,8,2,10
