Sophia married James JINKS on 5 April 1875 in Stamford, Lincolnshire. They had eight children - Elizabeth, Annie, Walter, James, Kate, Edward, Harry & Ernest. They where all born in All Saints Lincoln apart from Harry & Ernest they were born in Leicester.1,3
In the census of 3 April 1881 in 1 Dixons Court, Stamford, Lincolnshire, she was listed as the wife of James JINKS (a General Labourer, living with his wife Sophia, and child Annie).4 In the census of 5 April 1891 in 3 Rock Road, Stamford, Lincolnshire, she was listed as aged 35, the wife of James JINKS; a Bricklayer's Labourer, living with his wife Sophia, and children Elizabeth, Walter, James, Edward and Kate.5,6
In the census of 31 March 1901 in 18 Birstall Street, Leicester, Leicestershire, she was listed as the wife of James JINKS (He was a Bricklayer's Labourer, living with his wife Sophia, and seven children - Elizabeth, Walter, James, Kate, Edward, Harry and Ernest).7
