Angela wrote: "Their great grandson was Francis Jonathan Clarke who was a popular Mayor of Lincoln in the 1880's. He was the first Catholic mayor and used to give away bags of coal to the poor at Christmas time. He made a fortune out of a medicine called, Clarke's Blood Mixture, and was one of the first people to advertise internationally.3"
